Welcome to our Photovoice for Online Safety Initiative

SHARE YOUR STORY

Your voices can inspire change, and a new digital age where people are valued more than profits.

This initiative was started by a Coalition of young people and adults determined to see federal policymakers take action to make online spaces safe for Gen Z and future generations. As a member of Gen Z, you have lived much of your life in a 24/7 digital world. We want members of Congress to understand what that has been like for you.

Getting Started

Step 1: Think about your experiences with social media and how the constant distraction, cyberbullying, hate speech, predators, and drug trafficking, have impacted your well-being.

Step 2: Upload photos (up to three) and write a description to help policymakers understand what you media has impacted your life.

Here are some sample photos.
